After the Oscars: What the Nominees Are Doing Next (2025)

Now that the gold dust is settling on a long awards season, it is time to look forward to what’s next.

For Kieran Culkin that means heading to Broadway for the most recent staging of Glengarry Glen Ross, while this summer is likely occupied with filming on the third Dune movie for Timothee Chalamet. Elsewhere, awards break-outs like Anora’s Mikey Madison and Yura Borisov have yet to announce their next projects but are getting a lot of interest from studios and directors.

Here’s what the best actor and actress nominees have coming up.

Cynthia Erivo (Wicked)

Outside of Oz (Wicked: For Good is due out this year), she is set to star in the adaptation Children of Blood and Bone from Gina Prince-Bythewood and the screen adaptation of Prima Facie.

Ralph Fiennes (Conclave)

Next up is 28 Years Later, the latest movie in Danny Boyle’s zombie apocalypse series, followed by the thematically opposed Sony Pictures Classics World War I period dramaThe Choral.

Karla Sofía Gascón (Emilia Pérez)

While Gascón signed with UTA following her film’s Cannes debut, that was before old social media posts surfaced where she decried Muslim immigration, among other topics. She has yet to have an announced follow-up.

Ariana Grande (Wicked)
